• Weatherproof shield. The entire hive box is dipped in boiling beeswax. This process penetrates deep into the wood fibres, creating a superior moisture barrier compared to paint. It ensures the hive won't absorb water during rainy spells.
• High capacity. This is a 10-Frame Langstroth design. It offers ample space for a strong brood pattern and honey storage. Please note this is compatible with Langstroth accessories (not National), the most widely used system globally.
